Organisations that use our Club

Members would like to draw your attention to our private meetings room which, is available for a small fee and will accommodate up to 40 people. Many local organisations and businesses hold regular formal and informal gatherings here, where they can discuss their many interests in privacy and comfort. A few of our more regular guest organisations include: -

Grenadier Guards
Veterans of the Grenadier Guards association who meet on a regular basis to continue a friendship that was forged when serving together. Friendships that have survived for nearly seventy years. They will be pleased to hear from any interested party or fellow grenadier who might wish to rekindle a few memories and friendships.

Tunbridge Wells Conservative Association
Members of the “Tunbridge Wells Conservative Association “ also hold regular lively and enjoyable political discussions during the autumn and Winter months at in our meeting room. Tunbridge Wells Member of Parliament and President of our club Greg Clark often leads these debates with guest speakers occasionally providing contributions relevant to their individual expertise. The relaxed atmosphere and comfortable facilities encourage the participation of all present. Views and comments, distilled from these discussions are forwarded directly to policy makers at Conservative Campaign headquarters and, Via Greg to other members of the Shadow cabinet and Conservative Leader David Cameron.

The Oddfellows
The Oddfellows meet on the first Wednesday of every Month, Where many varied talks and presentations are given by interesting speakers such as the Actor Philip martin Brown. On some occasions Quiz and games nights are held. Refreshment is provided for all who attend these gatherings. Further to these meetings trips the Oddfellows organise Meals in local country houses and Pubs. Arrange visits to many interesting places like the blue bell railway and other steam trains.

The district has satellite branches in Lingfield, Rusthall Sevenoaks Hastings and Bexhill, all members may also participate in any of these centres activities.

As a friendly society the Oddfellows can assist members With dental and optical costs, their headquarters in Manchester may also give further assistance.
